This is how i found Stella after her nap today - bandaid from her 1-year shots ended up like this - it was too cute.
And aside from the freak out i endured after choosing, last minute and somewhat abruptly, to give Stella a Flu shot this year (i was very upset thinking the shot had Thimerosal in it but later learned that my concern was a mute point as her dr's only give her the Thimerosal-FREE vaccine but they nor their flyer they gave me AFTER the fact was clear about it all) - her 1st Year Appt. went very well.
She's still not quite at 18 lbs., she measured in at 17.12 (thus gaining .12 lbs over the last monty) and her height was at 28.75 inches and her head circumference came in at 45 cm. What does all this mean? Well, by weight she's still riding the Negative 3%, by Height she's at 24% and Head Circum. she is at 39%. No conerns for the doctors - just made sure she's eating well and drinking the whole milk now - which she has been doing.
Every time i go in for this i tell them "my husband's sister was a very tiny girl when she was a baby and through 5 yrs. old at least - so it runs in the family i think" i've been told knowing that kind of info is important.
