TUCKER'S 6th Month! Our December 2012

 HAPPY 6-MONTHS TUCKER!

Stella Sings "Happy Birthday" Song to Tucker - this is precious to me.

So, Tucker had a very eventful 6th month as December is always full of lots of fun things to do.

And with this month there were alot of "Firsts" for both the kids....which made it really fun.

TUCK'S FIRSTS include:

• Tucker got his FIRST TOOTH (well first two teeth)!

• His 1st time trying solid food (baby rice cereal & baby oatmeal).  So soon it will be time to bust out the Bebe to make him pureed foods


• His Very 1st Christmas
-which means his first time trekking out to our local Christmas Tree Farm here in Ida, MI for the cutting down of our tree.  During xmas he was such a gem during all 5 rounds of xmas - lasting from early morning to late late evening that day.

• Tucker met his 2nd Cousin Jodi (North Carolina) and Great Uncle Mark (Georgia) for the First Time


• And tomorrow...his Very 1st New Year's Eve - where this year we will spend it at home just the four of us. 

As far as Stella goes this month - she had alot of fun this Christmas - it was her first time understanding who Santa was and not crying when sitting on his lap for the annual xmas pic at the mall.  However, she did surprise us as she really wasn't all that into opening up all the gifts.  She'd rather PLAY with those family members who were adorning her with gifts - so we found ourselves opening up her gifts.  But don't get the wrong picture here....all those gifts, SHE LOVES as she's scooting around in the house with her new mini-scooter, new helmet and all the protective padding one can own (shin, wrist and elbow guards to boot!), mini-electric play guitar (omg she is hilarious playing this thing - she puts on a VERY VERY serious face as she ROCKS OUT with the toe tapping and all - like a natural), the coolest contemporary dollhouse ever, the bounce house with 100 of her favorite classic toys included...BALLS, and that's just to name a few.  She is very lucky and we are very grateful to everyone for giving Stella a fun year ahead of her as she will entertain herself alot with all of her new toys!

STELLA'S FIRSTS include:

• Stella entertained us with her Very First Tap Dance Recital

• Her First Visit to the Dentist & she was so good!

• This was the First year we did Elf On The Shelf - which was alot of fun for everyone ;)

• Stella built her first Snowman with mommy & daddy!

I told Stella he borrowed Tucker's airplane and flew to the North Pole last night where Santa lives and discussed with him her behavior from yesterday, which was overall pretty good and that Santa seemed pleased to hear the progress report...
